ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court adjourned hearing of the petition filed against detention of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan till Wednesday.The high court single bench comprised of the Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Aslam heard the petition on Tuesday.Petitioner Barrister Javed Iqbal Jaffery in his arguments said Dr. Abdul Qadeer is his close friend who has been illegally detained, even his friends and relatives were not being allowed to meet him. Deputy Attorney General Raja Abdul Rehman in his arguments said Dr. Abdul Qadeer has not been kept in detention by the government. Justice Muhammad Aslam asked who has detained A.Q. Khan if he is not in the government detention. The chief justice directed the petitioner to provide the court list of those persons who want to meet him. He also directed the DAG to ensure telephone conversation of the petitioner with Dr. A.Q. Khan.
