Aslam Raisani elected unopposed Balochistan Chief Minister

QUETTA : Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani of Pakistan People’s Party has been elected as Balochistan Chief Minister unopposed on Wednesday. Speaker Balochistan Assembly Muhammad Aslam Bhutani announced here soon after the start of proceedings of the House. The Assembly met for the election of the Chief Minister under chairmanship of the Speaker. The newly elected Chief Minister will take oath of his office here Wednesday evening and he will seek vote of confidence from the assembly on Thursday.
