4 rockets land in Badabair, no casualty reported: SSP Operations
PESHAWAR: Four rockets believed to be fired from adjoining Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency hit Badaber area on Peshawar-Kohat road, damaging police a post, SSP Operations, Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah said on Thursday.
“No casualty has been reported,” Shah told news agency by phone. He said that one of the rockets hit the police post Sephan in the precinct of Badaber police station while another three landed in the nearby fields. He said that police post was badly damaged as result of explosion. Meanwhile, the blast rocked the area, which terrorized the local people. The bang of explosion was heard in long distance. Police has started investigations. The rocket was believed to be of Russian origin.
