KARACHI: Bulls are in a driving seat at Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) as 100-Index surged by 307.62 points or 2.54 % to close at 12,430.29. The turnover volume was high at 232.447 million shares as prices of 192 recorded gains and 110 sustained losses while 20 remained unchanged. A dealer at a leading brokerage house said that bull were very active in the market since the amendment in the circuit breaker limit rules by SECP and KSE late Monday. He said that market was looking strong with no negative news so far on political scenario. The market capitalization was also improved by Rs 93 billion to Rs 3.823 trillion. OGDC was the volume leader on second consecutive day with a turnover of 18.118 million shares followed by Arif Habib Sec 17.481 million shares, DG Khan Cement 14.515 million shares, NIB Bank 13.665 million shares and Lucky Cement 12.224 million shares. Nestle Pakistan recorded the highest increase of Rs 135 to 1,485 followed by Jahangir Siddiqui Co which moved up by 47.15 to 518.70 while Unilever dipped by Rs 13 to 2,350 and Siemens Pak went down by 10 to 1,430.
