PESHAWAR:The NWFP Assembly on Thursday passed the annual budget for the fiscal year 2008-09 with a total outlay of Rs.170 billion with the adoption of Finance Bill.Speaker Karamatullah Khan was in the chair.
The house earlier adopted 39 demands for grants pertaining to various departments after the opposition members withdrawn all their cut motion paving the way for smooth passage of the first annual budget of the NWFP coalition government led by PPP and ANP.
