Sherry for need to avoid unnecessary confrontation

ISLAMABAD : Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Sherry Rehman Saturday said at a time when Pakistan is beset with conflicts, there is a need to avoid unnecessary confrontations.
“As Pakistan is facing some economic and social pressures, we need to be more responsible,” she said in a statement issued here.
On the issue of restoration of judges, the Minister said “If police restores the judges as Nawaz Sharif suggests, then there will be a political and constitutional crisis. The other judges will immediately rule against the old ones.”
She said “we can, by an act of Parliament accomodate all the judges.”
