Shehbaz to take oath as CM today

LAHORE: PML (N) President Mian Shehbaz Sharif is set to take oath as Chief Minister Punjab today at Governor House.
Meanwhile, Punjab Assembly session for the election of Leader of the House presently is in progress and the voting process has been begun. Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal is chairing the session.
The Opposition members, belonged to PML (Q), have boycotted the session and were demonstrating a protest outside the assembly building under the leadership of Choudhry Zaheeruddin Khan, Parliamentary leader PML (Q) in Punjab Assembly.
Earlier, talking to newsmen on his arrival at Punjab Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif asked the opposition to take part in assembly proceeding as per democratic norms. He said that his party would try to persuade the opposition for the purpose.
