CJCSC calls on Musharraf

ISLAMABAD : Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Tariq Majeed on Tuesday called on President Pervez Musharraf. During the course of meeting, the President said that all efforts are being taken by the government for ensuring that all professional requirements of Pakistan Armed Forces are taken care of so that they are adequately equipped to face challenges.
General Tariq Majeed briefed the President about his recently concluded official visit to Jordan and interaction with civil and military leadership there.
The aim of the visit was to further enhance defence cooperation between the two countries.
