US takes up variety of issues with Nawaz Sharif: Colton

ISLAMABAD: US Ambassador Anne W. Patterson and the PML-N’s quaid Nawaz Sharif discussed a variety of issues of mutual concern, including economic and political issues and cooperation between the United States and Pakistan in the global war on terrorism, said Elizabeth Colton, Spokesperson, US Embassy, Islamabad.
Confirming that American Ambassador Anne W. Patterson met on Thursday with PML-N leader, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at his house in Raiwind outside Lahore.
This meeting was another of the US Ambassador’s continuing and regular interactions with a wide range of Pakistani political leaders, she added.
