3 members of line staff of electricity deptt electrocuted

LAHORE : Three members of line staff of Electricity Department were electrocuted at different places during last couple of days.
Muhammad Iqbal Lineman of Kangan pur Sub Division of Chairman Sub Division and Zafar Iqbal Assistant Lineman Cantt Division Multan were electorcuted yesterday.
Earlier, M.Naseem Butt, Lineman GD-I Sheranwala Gate Sub Division, LESCO Lahore was also electrocuted.
Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Electric Central Labour Union CBA in a meeting held here Sunday under the chairmanship of Khurshid Ahmad, General Secretary expressed a deep sense of grief and sorrow over the tragic death of these workmen who died as a result of accident including Muhammad Iqbal Butt Lineman Gd-I, Madina Town Sub Division Lahore.
The meeting appreciated the services of these dedicated workers and prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant patience to the members of the bereaved families. The Union demanded of PEPCO Management to take emergent measures to prevent such tragic accidents in future besides all possible help to the members of the bereaved families and employment and education of their children.
