ISLAMABAD : Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Health, Sherry Rehman Monday visited Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Federal Government Services Hospital (FGSH) to inquire about the health of bomb blast victims. Talking to journalists, she said free medical facilities will be provided to the injured and best medical care will be provided to them in both hospitals.
She strongly condemned bomb blast and expressed sorrow over loss of lives and injuries to innocent people. She said the elements involved in this heinous crime are enemies of humanity.
The blast left at least six people dead, 24 injured, besides wrecking dozens of cars. It also broke the windowpanes of the nearby building.
A joint investigation committee has been formed to probe the car bomb explosion.
