Amendments in law for tribal areas prepared: Naek




ISLAMABAD: Minister for law Farooq H Naik said the report about amendments in the law in force in Swat and tribal areas will be presented to the prime minister.He was talking to the journalists after meeting of the committee for legislation in FATA and Swat on Tuesday, adding coalition partners should not talk about quitting the alliance adding it would encourage the opponents. The ordinance will be promulgated in tribal areas after it is passed by assembly. The proposals floated in the assembly meeting aimed at bringing amendment in the laws in place in Swat and FATA will be acceptable to people, he assured. The laws being reformed included Fata regulations and Shariah law. With the implementation of these laws, peace would come in the area, he held.
