Election of Speaker, Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly on Monday.

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad has summoned the Provincial Assembly of Sindh to meet on April 7 at 9-30 a.m. for the purpose of election of Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
Speaker Sindh Assembly Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah informed the House on Saturday that nomination papers for the office of Speaker and Deputy Speaker can be obtained from the office of Secretary Assembly till 5 p.m.
He said the papers can be filed with the Secretary Sindh Assembly either by proposer or seconder or candidate himself till 1200 hours on Sunday. He said he will scrutinise the papers and final list of candidates will be put on display.
He said that in case there are more than one candidate for each office, the election will be held on Monday through secret ballot.
However in case if there will be only one candidate for each office of Speaker and Deputy Speaker, the result will be announced in the Assembly.
