PM, Governor Sindh discuss political situation







ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani Friday urged Pakistan Peoples Party and the coalition partners in Sindh to work with harmony to complete development works at the earliest. In a meeting with Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ibad Khan, who called on him here, the Prime Minister discussed the political situation in the country.
The Prime Minister said he would soon visit Karachi to ensure the business community that the coalition government was fully committed to solving its problems.
He said the government was taking immediate steps to meet the power shortage in the country, adding that the KESC should take measures for improving its distribution network and generating additional electricity.
