4 soldiers of Pakistan Army embrace shahadat in firing near LoC
ISLAMABAD: Four soldiers of Pakistan Army embraced shahdat while three others suffered injures when a patrol party came under attack by unknown assailants from a jungle in Buttle sector of Hajira along the Line of Control (LoC) on Thursday. Director General ISPR Major Gen. Athar Abass confirming the news report said that the patrol party of Pakistan Army came under armed attack of unknown assailants from a jungle in Azad Kashmir area. In retaliation to that, he said Pakistan Army responded and cross-fire is continuing till filing of the story.
He said the assailants were using small arms.
To a question, he said due to the location of the scene nothing could be confirmed about the happening till the finding of the investigations which are being conducted.
He said the jungle from where the fire was coming is located inside Pakistan territory but situated along the LoC.
