Rs 3290.615 bln Charged Expenditure presented to NA




ISLAMABAD : Minister for Finance Syed Naveed Qamar Thursday presented Charged Expenditure of Rs 3290.615 billion to the lower House of the Parliament. The minister presented these charged expenditure included in the demands for grants and appropriations for year ending on June 30, 2009 as provided under article 82 of the Constitution.
These charged expenditure include superannuation allowances and pension, civil works, National Assembly, Senate, Pakistan railways, external development loans, President House, servicing of foreign and domestic debt, foreign loans payment, audit, Supreme court, election and some other departments.
As shown in details, the major chunk of the charged expenditure is for repayment of domestic debt, servicing of domestic debt and foreign loans repayment.
Charged Expenditure were also discussed by the members in the House with certain recommendations and cut in some of the allocations.
