ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar said all the powers regarding operation in the tribal areas have been delegated to Army chief General Ashfaq Kayani.Talking to journalists on the occasion of 10th Pakistan International Footwear Exhibition here, he said parliament had several debates on situation in tribal areas; however, in a meeting with Prime Minister Makhdoom Yousuf Raza Gilani, all the powers in this regard have been deputed to the Army Chief.Ahmed Mukhtar maintained that peace and law and order to the tribal areas would be ensured at all costs and if they had to fight, they will not flinch back from it.Pakistan is facing no danger at all, he added.
