ISLAMABAD:More human world award has been conferred on Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed for her meritorious services in the field of democracy and humanity.
According to PTV special ceremony to confer the award was held near the French capital Paris.Ms Benazir Bhutto’s daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari received the award.
The award is given to persons who rendered laudable services to democracy, humanity and play important role in strengthening of democratic norms.
Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto worked for international peace, democracy and liberty during her entire life time. She is being awarded as an acknowledgement to her services.
A delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party led by its secretary general Jehangir Badr also attended the function. Nearly twelve hundred personalities from 120 countries attended the ceremony.
The delegation included PPP Balochistan President Lashkari Raisani, Barrister Masood Kausar,Taj Haider,etc.
