Foreign Minister fooling the nation: JI

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan has flayed the statement of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi given in Delhi after meeting his Indian counterpart that Pak-India talks process will continue for peacefully resolving contentious issues.JI Secretary General Syed Munawar Hassan, in a statement on Saturday, said history witnesses that India has neither been sincere in talks with Pakistan nor has she ever been sincere in resolving the Kashmir issue. Munawar said no doubt the disputes between the two countries could be resolved through talks, but talks could only be successful when both sides were serious and sincere for talks. He said the foreign minister had avoided protesting against the construction of the dams India had been illegally constructing on the Pakistani rivers to turn the country into desert. He added illegal construction of dams and massacre of Kashmiri Muslims were the most pressing issues but the foreign minister had not mentioned them.
