Pakistan attaches importance to its relations with Russia: PM




ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday said Pakistan attaches importance to its relationship with Russia which is based on mutual respect and similarity of views on various regional and international issues. He was talking to Khalid Khattak, Pakistan’s Ambassador designate to Russian Republic here at the PM House.
The Prime Minister said there is great potential for collaboration in the energy and communication sectors and Russian companies can invest in these fields.
The Prime Minister said that Khalid’s appointment as Ambassador to the Russian Federation will further enhance the existing relations between the two countries.
Khalid Khattak said that he will utilize all his energies to strengthen relations between the two countries.
