Koena Mitra created a flutter in the industry as she gyrated to numbers like 'O saki saki re.’ Now she’s going places on the professional front and starring opposite British actor Orlando Bloom in Karna. In the movie, Koena plays a woman blessed with supernatural powers. The actress shares her excitement with NT and also tells why she enjoys the sexy tag.... EXCITEMENT GALORE Excited about working with Orlando, Koena says, "I am a big fan of the star. I have seen him in Pirates of the Caribbean:Dead Man's Chest and found him too good in the film. I am looking forward to working with him. It is going to be a wonderful experience." Apart from this project Koena has bagged another big banner, but chooses not to divulge much about it. For the film she has had to chop her lustrous black hair and has got them coloured chestnut. On her new look she says, "The film makers wanted me to get a South American look. So I am swimming a lot during the day to get a tan. Also, I have lost oodles of weight." ON FACE JOBS Koena had got a lip and a nose job done sometime back. Ask her about this and she gets miffed, "I don't give clarifications. People say a lot of things about me. There was a rumour that I had taken special treatment like Michael Jackson to become fair." She adds, "In this glamour industry looks matter a lot. Your survival depends on your looks and how stylish you are." So has she got botox done to acquire glamorous and stylish looks? The lady clams up and refuses to comment on this. SEXY TAG It was Koena's sexy image and cat-like eyes that made her a favourite of film makers like Subhash Ghai, who signed her for Apna Sapna Money Money...? and Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena. Quite enjoying the sexy tag she says, "I love it when people call me a bombshell. While many women in the industry aspire to be sexy, I am naturally so. Whatever I do or wear, I know I can never look vulgar." FRIENDS FOREVER Koena is busy these days providing solace to her friend Tanushree Dutta, the actress who's been through a bad patch post Horn Ok Pleassss controversy. "I know Tanu for the past two years and she is going through a bad phase. I believe that people who stand by you in difficult times are your true friends. I make it a point to spend as much time with her as possible," she says. CAREER MOVES Now that she is getting recognition, what’s gonna be her strategy?
