Newly elected Deputy Speaker SA vows to protect women rights




ISLAMABAD : Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly (SA) Shehla Raza Monday vowed to make women of the country more useful citizen and launch extensive programmes aimed at creating awareness among them about their rights.
She was talking to a private television (Express News) after her election as Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly.
Being 52 percent of country’s total population, women have more responsibility to play their role and effectively contribute to development and prosperity of the country, she said.
She said women should be made more active community, having awareness about their rights, strength and potential to meet the challenges of the modern world.
