No possibility to accredit any foreign official to Pakistan’s command authority: Shah







ISLAMABAD : Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Thursday categorically denied to give any representation to any foreign official in the National Command Authority and added that there will be no compromise on Pakistan’s nuclear programme of nation interest. Talking to newsmen at Foreign Office at the weekly briefing along with spokesman Muhammad Sadiq, the Foreign Office said, the National Command Authority (NCA) composed of the President, Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, Defence Minister and others but there is no possibility to accredit any foreign official.
The Foreign Minister said, “There is no possibility to give any accreditation to any foreigner to NCA either through any “hot or cold line” as it is the matter of our national interest and there will be no compromise on it.”
The Minister further said, “There is no question of allowing access to any outsider to Strategic Plans Division (SPD) for any other purpose.”
