Drona postponed, Priyanka spills the beans on film script

Drona, the Abhishek Bachchan-Priyanka Chopra starrer directed by Goldie Behl in which Abhishek takes on the avatar of a new age, Bollywood superhero on the lines of Hrithik Roshan’s superhero act in Krrish, has been postponed for various reasons. And if the buzz is to be believed then the delay is possibly because Abhishek wants Drona to be a slick product before it enters the market.
Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand says, “Abhishek is essaying the character of a person who is unaware that he has the potential to be a superhero. That job is thrust upon him for some reasons. And I have been told from my childhood that Abhishek is the guy I need to protect. Hence, my entire life revolves around this guy who is an absolute nerd. I am not too happy that this is the man that I have to actually protect all the while. So strangely, I am the one who has to constantly save his life when it should be the other way round,” says Priyanka and adds quickly, “The film has a very sweet ending too. The movie has a different dose of fantasy interspersed with tons of magic and mythology and yet it is set in the modern era.” Delay or no delay, Priyanka certainly has described the film’s story in graphic detail.
