Blasts in vehicle leaves six dead, five injured in Bajaur: APA
PESHAWAR : Six tribesmen were killed and five other injured when their double cabin was blasted near Malkana area in Tehsil Salarzai, Bajaur Agency late Tuesday night, said Assistant Political Agent (APA) Bajaur.
APA Bajaur Muhammad Iqbal Khattak told APP that six tribesmen believed to be associated with an extremist group have lost their lives in the blast that rocked their vehicle.
An official of Political Administration while giving first hand account of the explosion, informed that the explosive material was in the vehicle that went off with a big bang killing six of them and injuring five others.
He said the vehicle totally smashed as a result of the explosion. The administration has started investigations to probe the blast.
The site of the blast is 17 kilometers away from Khar, headquarters of Bajaur agency.
