Durrani appointed opposition leader in NWFP Assembly

PESHAWAR, May 05 (APS): Former Chief Minister NWFP and Parliamentary Leader of JUI(F) in NWFP Assembly Akram Khan Durrani was Monday officially appointed leader of opposition in the NWFP Assembly.
Following is the text of the notification of the NWFP Assembly issued here: “In pursuance of the provision of item (1) of sub-rule (1) of rule 2 of the Provincial Assembly of North West Frontier Province Procedure and Conduct of Business Rules, 1988, it is hereby notified that Akram Khan Durrani, MPA has been appointed as the Leader of Opposition and is entitled to all the facilities provided under Section 3A of the Provincial of North West Frontier Province, (Salaries and Allowances of Members) Act, 1974”.
