Perizaad Zorabian’s life has come a full circle. This pretty, peaches and cream complexioned actress returns to television as a judge on a reality show . Audiences still remember her television innings when she played the character of Maya in a soap opera called Hum To Pardesi Ho Gaye. She laughs when we tell her this but goes on to add, “Television has a much greater reach now. Its power and hold over the nation has grown by leaps and bounds. However, I think earlier the content was more interesting. A trained dancer, who firmly believes in following a strict fitness regime, Perizaad is on a high these days because of her daughter Zaha. She says, “To see your child grow up is a beautiful experience.” So what was it about her simple husband that took her off her feet and settle for marital bliss? “I married the guy I wanted to marry. Isn’t that the best thing to have happened? I find him to be my greatest motivator,” she says ecstatically.
