Nine members of a family shot dead in B’pur village




MULTAN : Nine members of a family including four children and two women were shot dead by some accused at Kadia Shah village in district Bahawalpur. Police said that the incident occurred Friday night at the village some 80 km from Bahawalpur city.
The moharrir of police station Qaimpur told APS that the carnage seems to be motivated an old enmity.
Those killed were identified as Haji Ibrahim (family head), his wife Faizan Mai, three sons Muhammad Farooq, Abdur Rehman and Muhammad Yousaf (11), daughter-in-law Ruqayya Bibi (wife of Farooq), and grand-daughters Zainab, Khamsa (4) and Hafsa.
Senior police officials of the area have reached at the spot and started investigations.
