ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday assured the ruling coalition partners that Murree Declaration for restoration of deposed judges would be implemented in its true spirit.The Prime Minister assured the parliamentary party meeting of PPP, PML (N) and ANP in the Parliament House that the leaders of Pakistan Democratic Alliance (PDA) were sincere in implementation of Murree Declaration signed between Mian Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari, senior PPP leader Izhar Amrohvi told reporters after the meeting.
He said the resolution for restoration of judges is likely to be tabled in the National Assembly on Thursday (April 24) as the session would be prorogued on Friday.
Meanwhile, sources in the parliamentary meeting quoted the Prime Minister as saying that he was ready to issue an executive
order for restoration of pre-November 3 judiciary, if demanded by PDA leaders.
The Prime Minister asked the members of the National Assembly to submit development schemes worth rupees one million for their respective constituencies before April 30, he said.
He said timely submission of the schemes will ensure release of funds in the next budget, sources added.
The Prime Minister is expected on Wednesday to again chair the parliamentary meeting in which some important decision are likely to be taken, sources said.
