MUZAFFARABAD - A delegation headed by Jumaa Mubarak Al Junaibi, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Municipality, visited Muzaffarabad and Rawalpindi to follow up the directives of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to help Pakistan rehabilitate the people affected by earthquakes.
The delegation was accompanied by Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Khalid Nasser Lutah, the UAE charged’affaires to Pakistan.
The delegation included Abdullah Saeed Al Shamsi, Director of Operations and Maintenance, Sultan Al Khufaili, Director of Projects at ShaikhKhalifaCharity Foundation, Nader Al Mulla, Director of Services Department at Shaikh Khalifa Foundation, Mohammed Ajmal Shaikh, Head Engineer at Abu Dhabi Municipality, and Carl Morin, Regional Director of the American company Morganti Group.
In line with the directives of Shaikh Khalifa, two hospitals will be built in Muzaffarabad and Rawalpindi. The two hospitals, which will be named after Shaikh Khalifa, will be built at a cost of $56 million, each with a capacity of 250 beds, and will be equipped with latest medical equipment
