Nawaz stands firm on judges restoration issue




ISLAMABAD : Pakistan Muslim League (N) quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Thursday expressed the resolve that they would not bend before the oppressive and tyrannical elements and country would be put on the path of democracy and democratic institutions would be made functional.
Talking to Geo News by phone from Dubai he categorically stated that every effort would be done to keep the present coalition intact.
He, however said that there could not be any compromise on the restoration of judiciary over which their party had been mandated in the February 18 elections.
Mian Nawaz Sharif on a question regarding the consequences of the failure of talks responded that if such circumstances arose then the final decision would be taken by the Party’s parliamentary party and central working committee.
He said that nation should not lose hope as the process of talks was underway and every effort would be made to keep the coalition intact and fulfill the commitments made to the nation.
